I am in the hospital in my own room. I have a really nice view and the room is big. I am feeling so much better today than I did last night. I took a short walk around the unit to get the blood flowing.

There is even a possibility that I may get to go home tonight! They are checking my blood work to make sure. I hope I do get to go home.

  1. So glad to here and looks like they only needed to put in the one tube!

    • Yeah, just one tube. My neck and half of my right ear are totally numb right now because of the nerves they had to mess with. It feels very strange. My blood work came back and my calcium is too low, so I don’t really know if I will be able to go home tonight. Argh. Oh well.

  2. So glad the surgery went well! All right!

  3. How about your voice are you able to talk? Are they giving you calcium?

    • My Voice is OK, but a little raspy, not bad though. I just can’t talk for too long or else it gets fatigued or whatever. Yes, they are giving me calcium. I really hope the calcium pills and the tums they have given me so far will work. It would be great to go home tonight! Keep your fingers crossed.
